Nowhere Metaverse Worlds
I’ve long been a fan of 3D Modeling, and Game Engines. Nowhere is a web3.0 platform that provides a way to hold multi-user events (much like a 3D Zoom) - for presentations, networking and meetups. The ability to create ‘worlds’ for Nowhere by using Blender intrigued me and I ultimately ended up being the very first community creator of a world using their plugin. After some practice, I have been able to create multiple worlds that are now part of Nowhere’s premium store available for others to buy and use as their own.
For the “Highlands” world, I tried a new technique, namely using Unreal Engine 5 as a way to ‘create’ a higher resolution world complete with Castles, trees, etc. and then rendered panoramas that I could then use in the Nowhere world. In the process of learning Unreal, I also spent time creating a cinematic of the world that you can see here:
